GENERAL PRESENTATION

FCB&A originally dates back to 1989 and has had strong international connections since its inception, through associations established with renowned English, Spanish and Brazilian firms.

Currently, FCB&A has offices in Lisbon, Porto and Faro (Portugal), Luanda (Angola), as well as a representation office in Madrid (Spain).

The Lisbon office is where the majority of the team is located at a centrally located building in Lisbon's business district.

Our Porto office is smaller but equally possesses experience and knowledge to provide services in all areas of law.

In 2005, FCB&A set up an office in Angola through local lawyers and was one of the first Portuguese firms to enter this expanding market.

Recently, we opened an office in Faro to cater for the southern Portuguese market and like all offices is full service.

In Madrid, we have a representation office, which does not provide legal services but serves a base for contacts with the Spanish market.

FCB&A is first and foremost a client-driven firm committed to the effective management of the delivery of its services, maintaining high standards of technical quality, delivering an integrated, quick and effective service, benefitting from the experience and know-how in all the different legal areas of all of its over 80 staff.

The majority of our clients are international companies, although we continue to maintain a significant private client practice, mainly focussed on tax, real estate and litigation work.
